Tom Lee predicts the S&P 500 will reach 7,700 points by 2026
On December 11, it was reported that Tom Lee expects the S&P 500 index to reach 7,700 points by 2026, which would extend the bull market into its fourth year, representing an 11.8% increase. He believes that the "wall of worry" effect, strong technology growth driven by artificial intelligence, and the Federal Reserve's potential dovish policies are positive factors driving the market upward. In 2025, the S&P 500 index rose by 17%, with the communication services and technology sectors increasing by 33% and 27%, respectively. Lee is optimistic about the performance of the technology, artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, materials, energy, and financial sectors in 2026.
