This version introduces native fee subsidies and key security improvements, replacing the earlier v2.1 before the Sonic mainnet is fully upgraded to Pectra compatibility. It applies to validators, RPC providers, archive nodes, exchanges, and other node operators. After upgrading, nodes will continue to operate on the current mainnet until the full transition on November 3, 2025.

- 04:34Radiant Capital exploiter has deposited 2,834.6 ETH into Tornado CashAccording to a report by Jinse Finance, CertiKAlert monitoring shows that the Radiant Capital exploiter has deposited 2,834.6 ETH (approximately $10.8 million) into the mixer Tornado Cash. Of these, 2,213.8 ETH were bridged via Arbitrum to the EOA address 0x4afb in October 2024, while the remaining funds were obtained through DAI swaps. On October 16, 2024, the Radiant lending pool on both BNB Chain and Arbitrum was attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $53 million. The attacker gained control of 3 out of 11 multisig wallet signers, replaced the implementation contract of the Radiant lending pool, and thus stole the funds.
