According to COINOTAG News, citing Coinbob Top Address Monitor, a notable whale known as ‘pension-usdt.eth’ deployed a 3x ETH long during a brief Ethereum uptick. The position initially ran in the red, but a swift swing-trading dynamic turned the trade profitable as momentum shifted.
The exit involved liquidating 30,000 ETH, equating to roughly $87.5 million, and delivering a modest net gain of about $300,000. The average entry price hovered near $2,967 per ETH, enabling a favorable re-rating on closure.
On-chain monitoring shows this address typically pursues short-duration swing trades with light leverage, maintaining full exposure in BTC and ETH, with an average holding window of about 20 hours.
Over the past 30 days, the position contributed around $13.78 million in realized profit, lifting total gains since October to approximately $25.25 million.
