PayPal expands PYUSD stablecoin use cases to provide funding support for AI development | PANews
PANews December 19th news, according to Cryptopolitan, payment giant PayPal has announced that its stablecoin PYUSD will collaborate with Web3 protocol USD.AI to provide funding support for artificial intelligence (AI) companies. USD.AI will utilize PYUSD to offer credit and financing services for AI companies in areas such as GPU and data centers. The two parties intend to combine common payment frameworks with programmable settlement to promote long-term credit, leasing, and upcoming agent-driven transactions. The two companies have also pledged, as part of a customer incentive program, to offer a 4.5% interest rate on deposits totaling up to 1 billion dollars to attract more customers. This incentive program will launch in early January and last for one year.
