UK fintech company Zepz partners with Fireblocks to launch stablecoin remittance service
According to TechFlow, on December 18, Financefeeds reported that UK fintech company Zepz (which owns international remittance platforms WorldRemit and Sendwave) announced a partnership with enterprise digital asset platform Fireblocks to launch a stablecoin-based remittance service in emerging markets.
According to the report, Zepz serves over 9 million users and operates in 130 countries, while Fireblocks processes more than $4 trillion in digital asset transfers annually. This collaboration aims to provide near real-time, low-cost cross-border payment solutions, addressing the pain points of long settlement times and high fees associated with traditional correspondent banking routes.
