Tether-backed mobile payment app Oobit enters the US market
BlockBeats news, December 8, according to Coindesk, the Tether-backed mobile payment app Oobit announced a partnership with Bakkt and will officially launch in the United States on Monday (December 9). This "tap-to-pay" solution integrates non-custodial wallets such as Base, a certain exchange, MetaMusk, Phantom, and Trust Wallet, allowing users to make purchases directly with cryptocurrency via iOS and Android devices. Merchants will receive real-time fiat settlements through the existing Visa payment network.
