Trump Organization plans to build a tokenized resort in the Maldives
Jinse Finance reported that the Trump Organization is collaborating with a Saudi Arabian partner to develop a luxury resort in the Maldives, with plans to tokenize the hotel development project. In a joint statement on Monday, the two companies announced that the Trump International Hotel Maldives project will feature 80 ultra-luxury beachfront and overwater villas, co-developed by the Trump Organization and Dar Global Plc. Dar Global is a London-listed subsidiary of a Saudi developer. The Maldives resort is scheduled to open by the end of 2028 and is only a 25-minute speedboat ride from the capital, Malé. The tokenization of the project will allow investors to participate in the development phase, offering digital shares that investors can purchase in the form of tokens.
