Ethereum Foundation plans to activate Fusaka upgrade on December 4
Foresight News: The Ethereum Foundation has released the Fusaka upgrade announcement. The Fusaka network upgrade is scheduled to be activated on the Ethereum mainnet at slot 13,164,544, expected on December 4, 2025, at 5:49:11. This upgrade introduces a Blob-Only Parameter (BPO) fork to safely scale blob throughput after PeerDAS activation. The main feature of Fusaka is PeerDAS (Peer Data Availability Sampling), which can significantly increase blob throughput. Fusaka also optimizes both the execution layer and the consensus layer to enhance L1 performance and improve user experience.
