Federal Reserve Governor Smirlan: The strength of financial markets should not be overemphasized when assessing monetary policy
Jinse Finance reported that Federal Reserve Governor Adriana Kugler stated that it is inappropriate to place excessive emphasis on the strength of the stock market and corporate credit markets when assessing monetary policy. She believes that the current monetary policy remains too tight and has increased the risk of an economic downturn.
