Anthropic releases Claude 4.5 AI model, demonstrating outstanding performance in financial and scientific tasks
Jinse Finance reported that Anthropic released the Claude 4.5 AI model on Monday, stating that this latest version is capable of longer continuous coding sessions and performs better on financial and scientific tasks. This move marks the company's increased focus on the enterprise AI sector. The AI startup, backed by Alphabet and Amazon, is racing against competitors to develop models that can reliably operate software and complete multi-step tasks, which is crucial for AI agents that can perform tasks on behalf of humans. Mike Krieger, the company's Chief Product Officer, said that in internal testing, the Sonnet 4.5 model created a web application from scratch, and one client had the AI chatbot code autonomously for 30 hours, a significant improvement compared to the previous Claude Opus 4, which completed a 7-hour coding task for another client.
