Bitwise Asset Management launched five new crypto ETPs on the SIX Swiss Exchange in September 2025, aiming to broaden institutional and retail access to regulated digital assets within Europe.
These offerings are likely to increase institutional investment in digital assets, reflecting Europe’s growing embrace of cryptocurrencies and enhancing the visibility and integration of such products in financial markets.
Bitwise Asset Management has expanded its product suite with five new crypto ETPs listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. This move aims to increase access to regulated digital assets for institutional and retail investors.
Bitwise, the world’s largest crypto index fund provider , launches products linked to Bitcoin, Ethereum staking, Solana staking, an index, and XRP. These additions highlight the ongoing integration of crypto into traditional financial markets.
The initiative impacts European institutional investors, offering options for including staking and digital asset indices in their portfolios. This listing on the respected SIX exchange enhances Bitwise’s visibility in the continent’s rapidly evolving digital assets space.
These ETPs integrate into traditional portfolios, potentially influencing TVL and liquidity of the underlying assets. Increasing institutional demand could shift market dynamics, particularly for staking-linked Ethereum and Solana.
Swiss regulation plays a pivotal role in enabling this expansion of regulated crypto products, encouraging institutional inflows. Other European nations may follow suit, reinforcing cross-border digital asset engagement.
Historical precedents hint at marked increases in institutional research and market caps for underlying tokens. With products like Ethereum staking ETPs gaining traction, Bitwise’s offering may set a benchmark for income-generating crypto investments.
As Ronald Richter, Regional Director Investment Strategy, Europe, Bitwise, remarked:
“The five flagship products we have listed in Switzerland will broaden options for investors looking to benefit from the full potential of crypto markets. Europe is rapidly opening up for digital assets, and Switzerland is a leading and crucial market at the heart of the continent. I’m extremely pleased that we’re developing our product suite on the widely respected SIX exchange, with new options such as staking and index products.”
