US Media: Musk Pauses Plans to Form New Political Party, Focuses on Company Affairs and Maintaining Ties with the Republican Party
According to a report by Jinse Finance, sources reveal that billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk is quietly putting plans to form a new political party on hold. Musk has told allies that he wants to focus on his companies and is reluctant to alienate influential Republicans by creating a third party that could siphon votes from the GOP. This marks a shift in Musk’s stance. Early last month, Musk stated he would form the so-called American Party to represent U.S. voters dissatisfied with the two major parties. While considering the formation of a new party, Musk has partly focused on maintaining his relationship with U.S. Vice President Vance, who is widely seen as a potential successor to the “MAGA” political movement. Sources say Musk has remained in contact with Vance in recent weeks and has admitted to aides that continuing with the party formation would harm his relationship with the Vice President. (Jin10)
