According to a report by Jinse Finance, sources reveal that billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk is quietly putting plans to form a new political party on hold. Musk has told allies that he wants to focus on his companies and is reluctant to alienate influential Republicans by creating a third party that could siphon votes from the GOP. This marks a shift in Musk’s stance. Early last month, Musk stated he would form the so-called American Party to represent U.S. voters dissatisfied with the two major parties. While considering the formation of a new party, Musk has partly focused on maintaining his relationship with U.S. Vice President Vance, who is widely seen as a potential successor to the “MAGA” political movement.
