Bitwise Executive: US 401(k) Plans Could Drive Bitcoin to $200,000 by the End of 2025
According to a report by Jinse Finance, citing Cointelegraph, André Dragosch, Head of Research for Europe at Bitwise, stated that the inclusion of cryptocurrencies in U.S. retirement plans could become a significant milestone for Bitcoin adoption. On August 7, Trump signed an executive order allowing Americans to invest in digital assets through 401(k) retirement plans. Based on a conservative estimate of a 1% portfolio allocation, this policy change is expected to bring approximately $122 billion in new capital to the cryptocurrency market. Dragosch believes that this development could be even more influential than the approval of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, and may drive the price of Bitcoin to $200,000 by the end of 2025.
