Trump said he has briefed several European allies on the latest developments, and all parties agree that the conflict must end. They will work toward this goal in the coming days and weeks. On the same day, a White House official said that Russia is eager to continue engaging with the United States. He expects that the U.S. secondary sanctions against Russia will still be implemented on the 8th.
