In recent days, World Liberty Financial has been stepping up its purchases. Last week alone, the project purchased 561 ETH for $2 million, in addition to a previous acquisition of 3.473 ETH exchanged for $13 million. Another 3.000 ETH was also added in the same period, for approximately $10 million. In May, the organization had already acquired 1.580 ETH for $3,5 million.
With these transactions, World Liberty Financial's total Ethereum balance reached 77.226 ETH, estimated at approximately US$296 million. The accumulated appreciation suggests an unrealized profit of approximately US$41,7 million, based on current prices.
Trump's move reflects a growing trend among institutional investors and major cryptocurrency players, who have been increasing their Ethereum positions in recent months.
Data from Lookonchain reveals that the wallet identified as 0x286f also recently added 12.749 ETH, totaling over $48 million. Since July 9, at least nine new wallets have collectively purchased 628.646 ETH, worth over $2,38 billion.
This trend reinforces institutional appetite for Ethereum in 2025, especially in an environment of expectations for regulatory advances and new applications involving smart contracts.
