Circle Applies to Establish the First Digital Currency Bank in the US, Focusing on USDC Trust and Institutional Services
According to a report by Jinse Finance, as disclosed by Cointelegraph, Circle has submitted an application to the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) with the aim of establishing the first digital currency bank in the United States. This bank will focus on USDC trust functions, reserve management, and institutional custody services, rather than traditional banking services.
