Zuckerberg: META to Invest Hundreds of Billions of Dollars in Artificial Intelligence
According to Jinse Finance, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that META will invest hundreds of billions of dollars in the field of artificial intelligence. A recent analysis by SemiAnalysis suggests that Meta is likely to become the first lab to launch a 1GW+ supercluster. Zuckerberg also stated that Meta Superintelligence Labs will possess industry-leading computing power and will be the lab with the highest computing capacity per researcher to date. Additionally, Zuckerberg revealed that Meta is actually building several multi-GW clusters, with the first one named Prometheus, scheduled to go online in 2026. Meta is also constructing Hyperion, which will be able to scale up to 5GW within a few years.
