Current Leading CEX and DEX Funding Rates Indicate a Neutral Market Trend
According to a report by Jinse Finance, Coinglass data shows that the current funding rates on major CEXs and DEXs indicate the market remains in a neutral state. The specific funding rates for major cryptocurrencies are shown in the attached chart. Funding rates are fees set by cryptocurrency trading platforms to maintain a balance between contract prices and the prices of underlying assets, typically applied to perpetual contracts. This mechanism facilitates the exchange of funds between long and short traders; the trading platform itself does not collect this fee. It is used to adjust the cost or yield of holding contracts, helping to keep contract prices close to those of the underlying assets. A funding rate of 0.01% represents the benchmark rate. When the funding rate is above 0.01%, it indicates a generally bullish market sentiment. When the funding rate is below 0.005%, it suggests a generally bearish market sentiment.
