UK-listed company The Smarter Web Company raises £10.34 million and holds 1,000 BTC
ChainCatcher reports that, according to an announcement by the UK-listed company The Smarter Web Company, the company has completed a subscription financing of £10,341,500 (pre-tax), issuing 3,182,013 new ordinary shares at a price of £3.25 per share. The new shares are expected to be listed and take effect on July 14. Upon completion of this financing, the total number of issued shares of The Smarter Web Company will reach 259,649,448, and existing shareholders (including board members) will be diluted by approximately 5.46%.
According to previous reports, on July 7, The Smarter Web Company increased its holdings by 226.42 bitcoins, bringing its total holdings to 1,000 bitcoins, with a total investment of £78.22 million.
