2025/07/04 05:51According to ChainCatcher, European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde stated on Friday that the EU’s economic system needs to improve its efficiency and productivity for the euro to stand on equal footing with the US dollar as a leading global currency. “Political leaders and policymakers need to get involved to make our economy more productive and efficient, and only then can the euro become a major global currency.”
