SCOR on Sweet Launches Flappy Racquet with Tennis Superstars

SCOR on Sweet Launches Flappy Racquet with Tennis Superstars

SCOR on Sweet, a fast-growing Web3 mini-app platform, has launched a new game called Flappy Racquet. It’s arriving right as Wimbledon kicks off. Inspired by the viral hit Flappy Bird, this fun new arcade-style tennis game lets fans play as animated versions of their favorite pro tennis players.

The more users play, the more Gems they can collect, which could soon be exchanged for SCOR tokens. These tokens can then be used for real-world tennis gear, unique experiences, and game upgrades.

Flappy Racquet will feature numerous famous tennis pros as in-game avatars as part of a licensing agreement with Winners Alliance. The lineup features Nick Kyrgios, Naomi Osaka, Aryna Sabalenka, Zhizhen Zhang, Barbora Krejcikova, Tommy Paul, and others. Each athlete has specific abilities that can provide gamers an advantage during games and help them climb the scoreboard faster.

The game launch is perfectly timed with Wimbledon, one of the biggest tennis events in the world. Some featured players have strong Wimbledon histories: Barbora Krejcikova is the defending champion, Marketa Vondrousova won in 2023, and Kyrgios was a finalist. These athletes’ digital avatars offer fans a chance to play and win while celebrating the sport’s biggest tournament.

Sweet’s CEO, Tom Mizzone, said: “Flappy Racquet is all about fun and rewards. We’re mixing retro gaming with real athletes and real-world perks. Whether you love tennis, Web3, or just games, this is going to be a hit.”

Players can soon use their SCOR earnings to unlock amazing items from the Sweet marketplace, like signed gear, exclusive meet-and-greets with tennis stars, and other VIP experiences. Manny Redruello, VP of Games at Winners Alliance, said that their mission has always been to support athletes, and the partnership with Sweet helps them bring new value to both tennis players and fans.

He said that SCOR is more than just a game: it’s a platform that showcases the talents of top tennis stars, creates earning opportunities for athletes, and offers fun, interactive experiences for fans worldwide. Flappy Racquet is now live and can be played through the SCOR on the Sweet mini-app on Telegram, web, and mobile devices.
