Report shows: Hong Kong's global competitiveness returns to the top three
17th, the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland, released the "World Competitiveness Report 2025". Hong Kong's global competitiveness ranking rose two places to third place globally, returning to the top three for the first time since 2019. Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, met with the media before the executive meeting on the same day and said that the report evaluates the competitiveness of various economies around the world based on comprehensive and objective data and business opinions. The report shows that Hong Kong's competitiveness has greatly improved, with a total score of 99.2 out of 100, an increase of 7.7 points, the highest among the top ten.
