AMD CEO: AI Chip Market to Exceed $500 Billion by 2028

AMD (AMD.O) CEO stated, "We are launching the MI350 and MI355 chips; the MI400 chip will be released next year. The MI350 AI chip is faster than comparable products from Nvidia. We are introducing the 'VULCANO' chip for AI networking. The company will launch AI servers based on the MI500 in 2027. By 2028, the AI chip market will exceed $500 billion, with the inference chip segment growing even faster. Over the past year, the company has made 25 strategic investments in AI-related firms. Elon Musk's AI startup xAI is using AMD's MI300 AI chips."
