Hong Kong-listed Transcend Education Group establishes investment committee, plans to invest HK$30 million in cryptocurrency

Hong Kong-listed company Transcendence Education Group has issued an announcement stating that it has established an investment committee to enhance the efficiency and quality of major investment decisions, particularly with regard to the Group’s investments in cryptocurrencies and virtual assets. The company’s board of directors also expressed an optimistic outlook on the strong momentum of the cryptocurrency market and plans to invest in cryptocurrencies to enhance shareholder returns. The total potential investment will not exceed HKD 30 million, to be funded by the Group’s internal resources, and will be conducted on regulated and licensed virtual asset trading platforms in the open market.
