NFT Sales Rebound to $430 Million in May as Buyer Numbers Continue to Rise
After experiencing several months of continuous decline throughout 2025, NFT monthly sales rebounded in May. According to CryptoSlam data, sales had been declining for five consecutive months since peaking at over $900 million in December 2024, but in May, NFT sales climbed to $430 million, up from $373 million in April, marking a 15% increase. This is also the first growth in NFT monthly sales this year, indicating a renewed interest in digital collectibles. Additionally, according to CryptoSlam, NFT transaction volume in May 2025 reached 5.5 million transactions. The increase in sales may also be attributed to the difference between independent NFT buyers and sellers, with the number of NFT buyers continuing to rise in May. The number of users purchasing NFTs increased by 50% from around 622,000 in April, while the number of sellers decreased.
CryptoSlam strategist Yehudah Petscher stated that the NFT market might rebound this year, possibly after BTC reaches its cycle peak. (Cointelegraph)
