Analyst: Cetus Hacker is Withdrawing Token Liquidity and Bridging USDC from Sui to Ethereum Mainnet
According to on-chain analyst @ai_9684xtpa, in the past 30 minutes, the Cetus hacker address mainly did two things:
- Withdrew token liquidity;
- Transferred a large amount of USDC from Sui cross-chain to the Ethereum mainnet (as most of the token pools use USDC as the stablecoin, this accounts for a large proportion).
The analyst stated that the stolen tokens on Cetus have not yet been fully sold off, and the short-term token plunge is mainly due to liquidity withdrawal and emotional panic.
