Digital bank Revolut announced a partnership with Lightspark to launch a Bitcoin Lightning Network-based payment feature in the UK and some European Economic Area countries. This move aims to leverage Lightspark's payment infrastructure to reduce transaction fees and speed up payment processing. Lightspark, led by former PayPal executive David Marcus, focuses on building global payment solutions based on the Bitcoin Lightning Network.
