U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls for February and March Revised Down by 58,000
PANews May 2nd news, according to Jinshi reports, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics: February non-farm payrolls were revised from 117,000 to 102,000; March non-farm payrolls were revised from 228,000 to 185,000. After revision, the total number of new jobs in February and March is 58,000 less than before the revision.
In addition, U.S. seasonally adjusted non-farm payrolls increased by 177,000 in April, higher than the expected 130,000. The U.S. unemployment rate in April remained stable at 4.2%, in line with market expectations.
