Ethereum Foundation Announces New Leadership and Goals for the Next 12 Months

The Ethereum Foundation (EF) has released details about its updated leadership structure and the strategic priorities that will guide the ecosystem over the next 12 months. The update, delivered through a series of publications, provides a clearer look at the internal operations of the entity that powers one of the leading cryptocurrency networks.
EF has reinforced its mission to support and strengthen the Ethereum ecosystem, upholding core principles such as decentralization and open collaboration. According to the foundation, its work is focused on both driving critical advancements and supporting the community that builds and sustains Ethereum.
To adapt to the evolution of the ecosystem, the organization highlighted the need for strategic flexibility, without giving up essential values such as privacy, open source innovation and censorship resistance.

New Co-Directors and Strategic Priorities
Among the new additions, two new co-executive directors were introduced: Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz K. Stańczak. They will take on the mission of leading the execution of the Ethereum Foundation’s initiatives while preserving its core principles.
Leadership priorities for the coming year have been defined as:

Ethereum layer 1 network scalability;

Implementation of blobs to improve data availability via proto-danksharding;

Improving user experience (UX).
These goals signal EF’s continued commitment to improving scalability and accessibility in the Ethereum ecosystem by 2025.
