Tether CEO: Quantum computing cannot threaten Bitcoin encryption system yet
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated on social media platform X that quantum computing poses a substantial threat to the Bitcoin encryption system, but it is still far away. He predicts that before any serious threat emerges, Bitcoin will add anti-quantum address functionality. Everyone in the world who has access to their wallet will transfer their Bitcoin to the new anti-quantum address.
