Amazon announced on February 6th local time that it plans to increase its capital expenditures to $100 billion by 2025, with expenditures of approximately $83 billion last year. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy stated during a financial conference call that the majority of capital expenditures will be used for the development of AI technology in its cloud computing department, AWS.
