Bitcoin futures rose more than 1.4% on Friday, with spot Bitcoin recording the longest weekly gains in over three years

On Friday (December 13th), at the close of New York trading, CME Bitcoin futures BTC main contract reported $102,000, up 1.43% from Thursday's close in New York and down 0.58% for the week. On December 10th it had fallen to $94,640. Spot Bitcoin has risen by a cumulative total of 0.68% over the past seven natural days, marking its seventh consecutive week of gains - investors are closely watching President-elect Trump's potential regulatory stance; this is the longest streak of weekly increases since September 2021 with a temporary report of $101,000; on December 10th it had fallen to $94,277.11. The CME Ethereum futures DCR main contract reported at $3,928.00 USD which was up by .55% compared to Thursday and down by a cumulative total of 3.56% for this week; on December 10th it also fell to $3498.50.
