U.S. stocks opened the Nasdaq rose 0.5%, Nvidia rose 1%
On October 18, U.S. stocks opened with the Dow nearly flat, the SP 500 up 0.3% and the Nasdaq up 0.5%. NVIDIA (NVDA.O) rose 1 percent after Bank of America raised its earnings-per-share estimate for NVIDIA over the next few years. Apple (AAPL.O) rose 1.3 percent after data showed sales of the latest iPhone model surged in its first three weeks on the market. Nifty (NFLX.O) rose 7.6 percent after Q3 results beat expectations across the board.
