Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) has announced its intention to host the inaugural HACK UK hackathon on 5-6 October in central London. The event aims to boost the UK tech industry by focussing on five themes: blockchain applications, artificial intelligence enhancements, public infrastructure upgrades, digital identity verification and the future of healthcare.
