CosmosHub releases Proposal 945 to launch consumer chain via permissionless ICS
On August 7th, Cosmos Hub released proposal number 945. After the update, sub-chains can launch consumer chains through Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (ICS) without permission, simplifying the governance process. At the same time, this proposal introduces consumer chain owners, providing flexibility in on-chain governance. This proposal has now received over 7.68 million ATOM votes in favor, accounting for 99.96% of the total votes.
