Cryptocurrency becomes a focus in the debate between Biden and Trump
In the upcoming presidential debate, cryptocurrency may become a focal point of discussion. In response, the cryptocurrency advocacy organization Stand With Crypto has launched an online letter-writing campaign that nearly 2300 people have signed, urging CNN hosts to ask questions related to cryptocurrencies. Organization spokesperson Sabrina Siddiqui stated that this will help voters understand the presidential candidates' positions on this important economic issue. President Biden's digital asset policy record includes several executive orders and actions by regulatory agencies, while Trump has shifted from past skepticism to supporting cryptocurrency mining and opposing Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC). Blockchain Association CEO Kristin Smith said this marks significant progress for cryptocurrencies in national political debates.
