Ripple CEO: The United States should become the financial center of blockchain technology
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse still insists that the United States should be the global leader in blockchain and cryptocurrency, despite ongoing regulatory challenges and new lawsuits against his company. Ripple's loyal supporter JackTheRippler shared excerpts from Garlinghouse's interview with CNBC on platform X. In the interview, he expressed regret for the U.S. government's resistance to the cryptocurrency industry, stating that this sector is "falling behind in Washington" and forced to be defensive. Garlinghouse attributed some of the challenges faced by the U.S. cryptocurrency industry to policymakers' lack of understanding, while also implying that some government officials may deliberately oppose this industry.
