Insider: OpenAI's annual revenue is expected to increase to $3.4 billion
According to insiders, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, announced to employees during a company-wide meeting on Wednesday that the company's annual revenue is expected to reach $3.4 billion. Altman stated that the vast majority of the revenue (approximately $3.2 billion) comes from OpenAI's products and services. OpenAI is also expected to generate approximately $200 million in revenue from providing access to artificial intelligence models through Microsoft Azure. Previously, it was reported that OpenAI's annualized revenue would reach $1.6 billion by the end of 2023. In recent months, OpenAI has been working to increase the revenue of its artificial intelligence products by selling services to enterprise customers.
