StarkWare Launches Catnet, Phase 1 of Bitcoin Scaling Initiative
StarkWare has announced the launch of the first phase of its Bitcoin expansion plan: Catnet. Catnet is a custom Bitcoin Signet that enables OP_CAT and is used to test the implementation of its Bitcoin Circle STARK verifier. Catnet is now online, and users can create wallets, receive some test Bitcoin, and develop Bitcoin scripts. The next step is to launch a $1 million OP_CAT security fund to accelerate all research.
