According to CME's "Fed Watch", the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in May is 95.4%, and the probability of a rate cut by 25 basis points is 4.6%. The likelihood of the Fed maintaining steady rates until June stands at 85.0%, with a cumulative chance of a rate cut by 25 basis points at 14.5% and a cumulative chance for a reduction by 50 basis points at just 0.5%.
