The SOMESING team issues a new token SSG to protect user assets
According to Odaily Star Daily, in order to mitigate the impact of the SSX hacker incident on January 27th, the SOMESING team will issue a new token "SSG (SomeSinG)" through a new contract to protect user assets and will conduct token exchange migration for existing SSX token holders. The token exchange snapshot is scheduled for March 28 at 06:00 UTC. To ensure a smooth process of token exchange and migration, the SOMESING team will suspend all existing SSX token contracts on March 27 at 06:00 UTC (24 hours before the snapshot). After the contract suspension, all token transfers (including transferring existing SSX to personal wallets and withdrawing tokens from exchanges) will be paused. The SOMESING team urges all SSX holders not to attempt transferring existing SSX tokens after the contract suspension time and before the foundation announces that the migration process is complete. After the snapshot, existing SSX tokens will be exchanged for newly issued SSG tokens, and only the new SSG tokens are eligible for transfer after completion of the migration process.
