Forbes Reporter: Influential anti-cryptocurrency politicians are rallying against ETH spot ETF
Forbes reporter Eleanor Terrett stated on X that the optimistic sentiment for SEC's approval of $ETH spot ETF before May 23 is waning.
She said: The meetings in recent weeks have been largely one-sided, with issuers and custodians trying to win over SEC staff to push this process forward, but the staff did not really participate in a meaningful way, as they did when handling BTC spot ETF applications.
She heard that the chairman of SEC believes he has appeased the entire industry by approving BTC spot ETF.
In addition, influential anti-cryptocurrency politicians like Senator Warren are already angry at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's approval of BTC ETFs and are rallying against ETH experiencing the same thing.
