Avalanche Cortina 14 released, validator set management redesigned for greater efficiency
On October 27th, Patrick O'Grady, the engineering supervisor of Ava Labs, announced that Avalanche Cortina 14 has been released. The upgrade includes adding TransferSubnetOwnershipTx (inactive) and support for rotating non-elastic subnet control keys. This major execution change may be included in the next Avalanche network upgrade (V1.11.0). Additionally, the upgrade includes a redesign of validator set management for improved efficiency and the addition of PebbleDB implementation.
