The January move topped at 2.4417, and since then price has been correcting. This does not look like a trend reversal. The pullback is controlled and shallow compared to the prior impulse, which tells me distribution has not taken over. Price is sitting closer to the 24-hour low at 2.0820, so there is short-term selling pressure. Still, price is holding above key structure. The main support I am watching is 2.04–2.00, which lines up with EMA(20) at 2.0703 and MA(20) at 2.0482. As long as this area holds, the medium-term structure stays intact. If it breaks, the next levels are 1.85 and then the deeper swing low near 1.77. Short-Term Indicators On XRP Show Compression Rather Than Aggressive Selling Or Trend Failure:⤵ Short-term moving averages are tightening. Price is below EMA(5) at 2.1147 and EMA(10) at 2.1052, but still above EMA(20). That tells me short-term pressure exists inside a broader bullish structure. Bollinger Bands support this view. Price is holding well above all key moving averages. EMA(5) at 94,800, EMA(10) at 93,357, and EMA(20) at 91,899 are stacked bullishly below price. Simple moving averages show the same alignment. This is trend strength, not exhaustion. As long as BTC stays above the 94,800–94,200 zone, structure remains constructive. Momentum And Volatility On BTC Support Continuation Even As Short-Term Overheating Appears:⤵ Bollinger Bands show price trading near the upper band at 96,718. Volatility is elevated, and direction is strong. This does not mean an immediate reversal, but it does increase the chance of a short pause or sideways move toward the middle band around 91,100, which also lines up with MA(20). Momentum is accelerating. MACD is strongly positive, with DIF at 1,444.48, DEA at 754.69, and a widening histogram at 689.79. RSI does show short-term overheating. RSI(6) is at 77.64, and RSI(12) at 69.85. That tells me the trend is bullish, but upside may pause before the next expansion. Volume supports the move. About 7.11K BTC traded, with turnover near 686.1M. This breakout is supported by participation, not thin liquidity. Relative Positioning Shows BTC Absorbing Liquidity First While XRP Remains In A Digestion Phase:⤵ When I compare both assets, the difference is clear. For BTC, continuation remains the higher-probability path as long as price holds above 94,800. A break above 97,928 opens the path toward 100,000. Even a pullback into the 91,000–94,000 range would still be healthy and would not break the trend. For XRP, continuation needs a reclaim and daily close above 2.18. That would bring 2.44 back into focus. A loss of 2.04 shifts attention to 1.85, with 1.77 as the deeper support. Liquidity is returning, but capital is selective.
