The token has been listed on Ethereum, the exchange's Base, and World Chain. wARS enables users to send and receive funds globally without the need for banks or conversion to US dollars. The exchange stated that it plans to launch similar stablecoins for other Latin American currencies in the future to facilitate cross-border payments in local currencies across the region. This release marks another move by the exchange in the real-world asset (RWA) sector, following its launch of tokenized sovereign bonds.
