Solana begins selling Seeker phones in over 50 countries and regions
According to Jinse Finance, Solana has begun selling Seeker phones in more than 50 countries and regions. Pre-orders for the Seeker phone have exceeded 150,000 units. The device will feature upgraded technology, a mobile-native crypto wallet, and a decentralized app store. The Seeker is priced at $450 and $500, and Solana is expected to earn at least $67.5 million from Seeker sales. The number of pre-orders for this device is several times higher than that of the first-generation device. Solana’s first-generation mobile device, Saga, sold 20,000 units, with sales stagnating for months until the meme coins stored on the phone made purchasing profitable. Emmett Hollyer, General Manager of Solana Mobile, stated, “Compared to the first-generation Saga, the Seeker’s hardware has been comprehensively improved. What truly sets the Seeker apart is its on-chain functionality.”
