Bank of Ghana Lists Yellow Card Affiliate and Hanypay as Unauthorized Entities
The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has issued a warning to the public, financial institutions, and all relevant stakeholders, urging them to be cautious when dealing with two digital payment platforms—Yellowpay, an affiliate of Yellow Card, and Hanypay. In a notice released on June 11, the central bank stated that these two entities are operating within Ghana’s jurisdiction without the required licenses and approvals, and all stakeholders are instructed to immediately cease cooperation with Yellow Card and Hanypay Ghana.
