Analyst: "Altcoin ETF Summer" May Arrive in July with SEC Approval
According to a report by Jinse Finance, analysts suggest that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) may start approving some cryptocurrency-linked exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as early as next month, ushering in an "Altcoin ETF Summer." Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted a memo from his colleague James Seyffart on the X platform (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, which mentioned: "ETFs tracking broad cryptocurrency indices may receive SEC approval next month." The memo added that the SEC might also "act ahead of schedule" to process applications for Solana and staking ETFs, with Balchunas stating: "Get ready for a potential Altcoin ETF Summer, with Solana likely leading the trend."
