Bitget Wallet Launches ‘Shop with Crypto’ In-App Marketplace
The in-app marketplace enables users to spend crypto on games, gift cards, travel, mobile recharges, and everyday purchases without fiat conversion, the team says.

Non-custodial Bitget Wallet has launched ‘Shop with Crypto’, its novel in-app marketplace that allows users to spend cryptocurrencies directly on goods and services.
Per the blog post, the company’s PayFi (Payment Finance) feature will include new functions, namely Pay Direct, Scan to Pay, and Tap to Pay. This, the team argues, will increase both crypto adoption and payment efficiency. Unlike services that convert crypto into fiat, this one allows crypto-native checkout from within the wallet.
Moreover, the newly launched in-app shop provides buyers with access to over 300 global brands, the announcement says. This includes digital wallet top-ups, mobile recharges, e-commerce gift cards, gaming, entertainment, and travel.
Additionally, buyers can use crypto directly to buy on Amazon, Walmart, Google Play, Steam, Shopee, Tmall, JD.com, and others. Therefore, this move “significantly broadens crypto’s practical utility,” Bitget Wallet says.
Meanwhile, the team unveiled its 2025 strategy in January, underlining PayFi as its key component. Their goal with PayFi, they added, is to bridge decentralized finance ( DeFi ) and real-world usability by allowing users to earn, send, and spend crypto seamlessly.
Direct, Scan, and Tap Payment Options
The announcement went on to explain that users can access the service via the ‘Shop with Crypto’ section in the Discovery tab of the app. They’ll pay with the Bitget Wallet balance and receive redemption instructions via email.
“The entire process is designed to offer a user experience comparable to mainstream e-commerce, but crypto-native at its core,” it says. Additionally, buyers can pay using their fingerprint, FaceID, or PIN code.

Furthermore, the Pay Direct function allows payments in local currencies or crypto with QR codes. Therefore, the app automatically detects national unified payment QR codes or Solana Pay QR codes.
Moreover, the Scan to Pay feature enables payment at any merchant using the national unified payment QR code. Finally, Tap to Pay allows users to make payments wherever Mastercard is accepted.
Meanwhile, a “central offering of the new marketplace is its gaming feature,” Bitget Wallet says. The team launched this particular feature with Web3 supermarket DotMart to allow in-game credit purchases for titles such as PUBG Mobile, Free Fire MAX, and Mobile Legends. It claims that prices are up to 30% lower than buying directly in-game.
Bitget Wallet COO Kan commented that the company has “built a simple, seamless, and secure experience that bridges digital assets with everyday spending.” Also, it plans to extend Shop with Crypto to include lifestyle subscriptions, more travel options, and additional merchant integrations.
Meanwhile, in late April, Bidget Wallet announced its integration with the universal crypto payment gateway Paydify . This allows merchants to accept stablecoin payments from Bitget Wallet users. They can pay through Paydify’s infrastructure with Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC) at select online and physical merchants.
