Today, spot gold broke through $3,000 per ounce, setting a new historical high. At the same time, Bitcoin was quoted at $83,259 with a market value of 1.65 trillion dollars. As a result, the total market value of gold exceeded 22 trillion dollars, which is 13.3 times that of Bitcoin's market value.
